Figure painting class
Participating in a weekly figure painting/drawing class continues to challenge and inspire me. To the left is a recent painting done in class. When the model was asked by the teacher what she thought of the painting, she replied, "I feel like I am looking at a bowl of fruit."
So I suppose the title of this piece will have to be Bowl of Fruit.

Plane Set
While in NYC for March break, a series of incidences* collided in my brain and created a new structure in which to paint. This short video below shows my small mock-up of this new project. I am calling it "Plane Set." It consists of two- dimensional images (paintings and photos) that interact via motorized vehicles (trains and cars)... creating a series of chance-derived interactions on various planes.
